Overview. Sortaroo is a media organization app available on iOS, macOS, and Windows. Sortaroo helps users organize their photos and videos while keeping their media under their control.
Data collection. Sortaroo does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. Media processing and organization are performed locally on your device. Sortaroo does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising.
iOS Photos access. On iOS, Sortaroo requests access to your Photos library so it can analyze and organize your photos and videos into albums. Your photos and videos are not uploaded to Sortaroo servers.
How it works. On iOS, Sortaroo can organize photos and videos into albums, identify miscellaneous media and possible duplicate copies for review, and copy selected albums to storage locations available through iOS. Sortaroo does not automatically delete your original photos or videos. On macOS and Windows, Sortaroo works with media in locations selected by the user.
Permissions. Sortaroo only requests permissions necessary for its features. On iOS, this includes access to the Photos library. Sortaroo does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
Children's privacy. Sortaroo is not directed to children.
